indiana did it..

indianapolis!
now that work is over for me... i can get a little crazy with friends and family in indiana.
1st off... brandi and i thought it would be a great idea to get a feather tattoo to symbolize our friendship and the good times in indiana. so we did...
i thought it would be cool to get like an eagle feather or some kind of tough bird with talons... but i didnt like the way the artist drew them... so i settled for a chicken feather! lol. love it. brandi has the same feather but a lil' bigger in the same spot as mine. and her mom also got one with us... she worked on pipeline too. i call her my "pipeline mama".
brandi and i woke up and met up...everyday! we went to the zoo, went to a dolphin show, went tanning, SHOPPING (alot),got a tattoo, tried to make as many memories as we could in the short amount of time we had before she had to go back home to tennessee! i on the other hand was stuck there until travis' crew was done... after brandi left... i played ALOT of wii!
GOOD TIMES!
well... another fun time was when my brother and my mom came up from oklahoma for mothers day! we had a blast! we went all over indianapolis... took a ton of pictures, carved our names on an old covered bridge, took them to an amazing resturaunt, showed them indianapolis, showed mom the lucas oil stadium...

we only had a weekend... too short! we had so much fun! went by so fast. i missed my family so much. i was missing out on so much that was goin' on down home. i couldnt wait to see everyone! couldnt come soon enough! while indiana was fun... it doesnt compare to oklahoma! the people here are sooo much nicer! i was ready to come home for a visit!

'Aint nothin finer than a pipeliner...

what an experience! travis and i left oklahoma, where we had our own construction clean-up business, to work on the pipeline in indiana! who would'a thunk it? lol. let me just start out by saying... pipeline is a mans job!!! but boy was it fun! the hills were... unbelievable and so hard to walk up! heres a picture for ya... just imagine lol...

yep... had to walk it! great exercise... not so great wardrobe after a day in this! might i add that it was 67 miles of this CRAP!!! lol. but worth every drip of sweat! i met one of my best friends in indiana.
brandi... from tennessee. i call her my tennessee whiskey!
she is a pipeliner too. we got to work with eachother on the "dope- gang"... the coating crew. which was MUCH easier than working on than the tie-in crew that i started on or working on the environmental crew with travis.
i started work in november 2008. travis and i just decided to pack up and try it out. im glad we did. it was fun living on our own, in another state, having to make new friends (or we wouldnt have any!) and such an awesome time for me travis... we got so close!
we lived in indiana for a year in an rv park. crazy but fun... crazy b.c. we dont have an rv. and fun b.c. we made the best of it! lol... we literally stayed in a huge open room... with french doors leading into another room, a room that held the real crazies! lol.
we had alot of ups and downs with our neighbors... "roomates!" but all is well! we had about 4 different sets of neighbors come int hat room... they all went in normal (we thought) and came out... well not so normal! i dont know what went on in that room.... never will lol.

one GREAT! memory of indiana... was getting a new puppy for christmas! travis bought me a mini' australian shepherd. he was the cutest thing! naturally i wanted to name him pipe since we were there working on the pipeline... didnt know the poor thing would never know his name! turns out he is a "lethal white". which means hes not suppose to be white and b.c. he is, hes deaf!!! lol... picture me trying to train this uncontrolable beast! he was a nut case... like our neighbors on the other side of the french doors!

my new pup... pipe!!!

when work was over... i had the time of my life with my new friend and with people who came to visit. more to come...

I dont care 'bout whats in style. I just like the way he smiles!

meet, Travis! this is the only guy i have never been able to stay mad at. he is everything to me. my sister always joked when i was growing up, " your future husband is going to be soo quiet!" (b.c. im so loud!) and he is just that. he is everything i wasnt looking for. he is the complete opposite of me and i cant express that word enough! but we just "fit".
i love being the only one who can crack him up. he hates it when people are loud... he tells me they give him a headache. but he has never said that about me. but poor thing... my family is italian! u can just imagine! lol.
i know he loves me with all his heart! he is such a great guy and hard to figure out to others but not for me. funny how it all worked out.
let me start by saying i HATED travis when i first met him. i was friends with his cousin and travis was always the "bad boy". come to find out, poor thing was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.... twice lol. anyways, i thought he was a stuck up, jerk! he wouldnt ever say much to me. i didnt like that! he thought i was crazy...b.c. i had a personality!?!?
things all changed when he and a friend of mine started "talking". get that this is my best friend at the time (you think everyone is your best friend in school) so we had to hang out. we had to be around eachother... which i wasnt crazy about this situation. but hanging out everyday, u get close to that person.
after a few months of hanging out everyday... he took me to the sod farm where he worked. just me and him. well, and a gun that he slipped behind the seat! i for sure thought he was going to kill me or something. just had enough of my loudness and crazy personality that he just couldnt handle it anymore! but instead he told me to get out of the truck and while im at it, grab his gun for him. so i did. hey- this guy is strong... i wouldnt have had a chance!...
he walked off... by the way this is like 11 PM! and its pitch black out on this farm. so... by myself, waiting in the dark, holding a gun and ready to shoot anything that makes a sound, when all of the sudden i hear an engine fire up. i thought great... hes leaving me out here to fend for myself! the headlights come around the corner and he pulls up in this 4 wheeler lookin' thing and says get in! umm... ok??? lol... after a minute of being silent ( i couldnt stand it any longer) i said "where the hell are u taking me?" he said " i come out here to shoot armadillos!" wow, i said! laughing in his face!!! this ought to be fun!
i had a blast!!!! i didnt ever want to leave. we were laughing and shooting stuff. i had so much fun with him. it hadnt ever been just the 2 of us before.
before we left i asked him what kind of 4 wheeler, tractor... whatever it was, was called. he said its a GATOR... i said "what a stupid name"!
